We use 80-150 yards of top quality tulle (yardage varies depending on size ordered) Newborn-Girls size 5: Our newborn-girls size 5 tutus are set upon a unique, soft & stretchy crochet waistband. This style of waistband accomodates children of many sizes and grows with your child. It gives a beautiful tailored look as well. Girls size 6 - 8: Goosie Girl's TuTu Waistbands will not twist!We use non-twist pajama elastic which will resist twisting. We SEW our waistbands (not tied like other boutique tutus...yuck!) because we believe in quality and every little girl should have a quality tutu in their closet! Every tulle end is meticulously hand-trimmed in my Chicagoland studio. Goosie Girl only uses American-made tulle (best quality and softer than Mexican or Chinese made tulle). The tulle we use meets CPSIA standards so no concerns are needed for your child's safety. I've been creating my tutus for the past five years and have perfected the art of the boutique tutu, you will be hard pressed to find a tutu the quality of mine, I take the utmost care and attention when creating every single one.
