Nov./Dec. of 2011: Goosie Girl Championed a Charity Auction & Fundraiser for a single mom in need.They were on the brink of eviction at the time of the holidays and we just could not stand by and watch this family go through something so traumatic at the most “magical” time of year. Over 100 items were donated & auctioned off, $1300 was raised and given to the family.
February 2012: Goosie dontated several items to benefit a fellow designer’s son who was struck by an automobile as a pedestrian. Benefit for Shane, son of Trevor Thorson. He is doing well after having brain surgery and several other surgeries to fix his injuries. Happy to report her son got the all clear from his neuro doctor and got the pins out of his wrist in May 2012.
March 2012 Goosie Girl donated a mini top hat for the “Sparkle Boutique Launch”. Goosie donated 100% of the sale of the top hat, $37.00 was raised and given to the Layla Grace Foundation
March 2012 Goosie Girl donated three newborn sized headbands for an auction hosted by Caylee Grace To benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
April 2012: Goosie donated a full set of ebooks to benefit a teen named Allison who was involved in a terrible car wreck (of which 2 of the people in the car died). Please see This Facebook Page for more information
$22 was raised for Allison’s benefit to help with medical bills etc. (Hearts for Allison Boutique launch organized by Dorothy Rich of Glambella Boutique.
